Dance, dance dear ~
It’s freaking hard to work with such bright and soft colours.
And no, I won’t count how many wips I have again waiting to be finished… as I hardly can finish anything now, so not counts much.
Something which came in my mind heavily inspired by another art I found over tumblr recently.
Nothing fix, this is just a rough speedpaint concept before I forget it.
Heat.
The artwork is pretty old it was once did to someone who not deserved it. I decided to pull it out and change the bad into good and rework the old one into something better and dedicate it to Alex.
Since Alex was the one helped me over the most complicated moments he really deserves it more then anyone else. The work changed a lot from ho it looked now it represent Love and Trust.
Für immer ~
Another 30 mins speedpaint.
For Alex, he got screenshot of my 10k just because so I decided to reward him with something just because. Another colour experience, trying to form friendship with vibrant strong almost neon tones without make it “sparkle”. Life-like and be expressive with the colours of my choice.
30 mins speedpaint.
How would you title this?
I don’t have fitting song to rip off a title of for it.
Larry and Wolf in a friendly fight.
Story in short;
~ commissioned someone for a sketch with these two which suppose to be a gift for Alex’s birthday. The artist dropped back my request in last minute having rl issues so it was luck to find someone willing to do a sketch in time instead.
I am happier with this in the end since I got full permission for inking and colouring and it brings back LOTS of memories of my childhood with my large comic collection I had (Spawn, X-men, WarLands, Batman… etc). The fun is, that when I started drawing seriously this was the same style I followed myself (usually in maths and literature note books) and developed it to be god one day just like David Finch.
But then the first animu series popped in our tv channels (good ol’ times, I grew up on Dragonball) and I exchanged it with animu. I regret that, I love this style until today.
I hate inking, but love the colouring part and overall the whole style hooked me again.
